Delivery Associate Schedules

• Four or five days per week; must be able to work one weekend day

• Shifts start around 12:00 p.m. and are typically 7-9 hours

Delivery Associate Duties

• Safely drive and operate your delivery van

• Use a provided handheld device for routing and delivery info

• Navigate a variety of routes

• Be comfortable working in various weather conditions and at night

• Load and deliver packages

• Lift packages up to 50 lbs

• Able to get in and out of van and walk up and down stairs

Delivery Associate Requirements

• Eligible to work in the US

• At least 21 years of age

• Hold non-provisional, unrestricted driver’s license

• Consent to a pre-employment drug test

Schedule

• Four days per week to start; fifth day at management discretion

• Must be able to work one weekend day

• Shifts start approximately 12:00 p.m. and are typically 6-8 hours

• Schedule and hours are subject to change based on operational needs

• Some shifts may include weekends, holidays, or variable start/end times

• Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis

Duties

• Safely handle, scan, transport, and deliver Amazon packages

• Operate a heavy delivery cart and walk throughout the shift

• Use a company-provided handheld device for GPS, package scanning, routing, timekeeping, and communication

• Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, drivers, and team members

• Load and unload packages from delivery vehicles

• Deliver packages efficiently, accurately, and on time

• Provide professional and courteous customer service

• Work in various weather conditions and during daytime or evening shifts

• Remain on your feet for the majority of the shift and walk up to several miles per day

• Lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs.

• Walk up and down stairs and through apartments, business districts, campuses, or dense delivery areas

• Support rescue or route-assistance needs when other team members require help

• Perform other delivery-related duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• Eligible to work in the United States

• At least 18 years of age

• Must provide a valid state-issued ID or passport

• Must successfully pass a 4-panel pre-employment drug screening, which does not include pre-employment testing for marijuana

• Able to read and understand work-related instructions (e.g., delivery documents, customer order information, and directions) in English

• Strong communication and customer-service skills

• Able to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment

• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow safety and delivery procedures
